Easter

This was our first Easter that the boys were actually able to really get into celebrating. The boys were, of course, excited about getting their baskets. Cole loved playing with the grass, trying to eat it, and spread it around the living room. Holden barely let go of his crabbie pattie candy to hunt for Easter eggs. We hunted for eggs in the basement this year because of the rainy, cold weather. Cole litterally was starting to toddle/run. Holden opened all the eggs and put m&m's in his mouth after each one. By egg number five, his mouth could hold no more. Let's just say we had a chocolate mess on our hands. For the record: it was Nate's idea. The last event of the day was coloring eggs. It is great that such a simple thing can entertain a little boy for so long. Holden sat for a good half hour putting his eggs in the carton and taking them out, lining them up, and holding them up for me to say what color they were. They were a hit!
