Handsome Husker

Our little Cole...I keep telling Nate that he's our baby to remind me that he actually is a baby. He just acts so big for a 10 month old. He stands on his tip toes and tries to open the back door. Tonight, he went into his room several times and closed the door. Each time I opened the door, he would get so excited and run from me. He has walked up to Nate a few times and said, "Dada", in a questioning voice. He has also begun to shake his head no when he doesn't want something.

Here recently he has started to let me read him books. Polar opposite of brother when it comes to this. He is always so busy exploring that he won't sit still long enough for me to a read a book to him. So, I was so pleased when he actually sat through one the other night.

He and Holden have begun to fight over toys. Which is funny, because Cole usually doesn't have much interest in toys, except the ones Holden is playing with. He usually spends his time in cabinets, and all the other places he's not supposed to be. Even though they have had the occasional fight over toys it is so cute to see them bond. Like tonight, Bubbie was sleeping in the stroller on our way home from our walk and Holden just leaned over and started kissing his cheek. Cole started giggling. Holden started saying, "Bubba's sweet." This went on for a good ten minutes.
